After receipt of the document, AIM will submit the respective Return Material Authorization (RMA) to your company. This RMA has to be attached to your return shipment. Please note that AIM can neither inspect nor repair any units without an RMA, regardless of the warranty period.
The provided RMA number serves as your reference for this unit and is valid from the date of issuance until the return shipment to your company.
In case AIM does not receive the return unit within 3 months from the allocation of the RMA number, the RMA number will be invalid. An extension of the warranty cannot be derived from this.
If the warranty period of the unit has expired or for damages which are not covered under the warranty, the unit will be inspected by AIM and we will prepare a quotation for the repair for you.
Since costs also occur for an inspection, kindly understand that this will be invoiced as well, even if the described fault cannot be verified. The scrapping of units will also be charged.
Please note, that AIM will reject units without an appropriate RMA and will return them to your company at your expense.
