In order to provide the best possible service to you, a detailed failure description is required before returning any units to AIM Infrarot-Module GmbH (AIM).
Thus, please provide us with the data requested below.
After verifying your information, AIM will submit the respective Return Material Authorization (RMA) to you. Please attach this RMA to your return shipment.
Kindly note that AIM can neither inspect nor repair any units without an RMA, regardless of the warranty period.
The provided RMA number serves as your reference number for this claim and is valid from the date of issuance until closure.
If AIM does not receive the return units within 3 months from the allocation of the RMA number, the RMA number will be invalid. An extension of the warranty period cannot be derived from this.
The units will be inspected after receipt at AIM. We will be glad to prepare a quotation for the repair for you if the warranty period of the unit has expired, or for damages which are not covered under warranty. Since costs also incur for an inspection, kindly understand that this will be invoiced as well, even if the described fault cannot be verified. The scrapping of units will also be charged.
Please note, that we reserve the right to reject units without an appropriate RMA and might return them to your company at your expense.
